Thanks to a neighbor he came in contact with a record player and his first vinyl in 2007- it was love at first sight! The pile of vinyl grew quickly and..ENG: ================================ Music just fell into his lap- this is probably the way to describe Tim´s way into electronic music. Thanks to a neighbor he came in contact with a record player and his first vinyl in 2007- it was love at first sight! The pile of vinyl grew quickly and both- his flat mate and his girlfriend had quite a few sleepless nights because of the never-ending music sessions. His love to this black, round treasure still persists and so he always arrives heavily laden and without laptop-bag. After a short phase of orientation - passing DnB- Tim found his style quite quickly- he simply loves the dark, pushing sound of Techno. 2010 was and is a really exciting year for Tim. In 2009 he came across an old barrack and started to reconstruct it in a long period of hard work into a club- the UNSICHTBAR was born. After the first couple of parties this small place became more and more famous and favored. During this time Tim fell in love with the sound of techno. Despite the lack of time due to his regular job and his club he started producing his own sound and a couple of his first tracks- developed from a collaboration with his friend Heron- will be released on an the long-established technolabel “Synewave” in autumn/ winter 2010. Tim definitely belongs to the newbies in the electronic music scene but he is packed with ideas and totally keen to get it rocked! GER: ================================ Wie die Jungfrau zum Kinde- so könnte man Tims Weg zur elektronischen Musik beschreiben. Durch einen Nachbarn kam er 2007 das erste Mal in Kontakt mit einem Plattenspieler und den schwarzen, runden Scheiben. Schnell hatte ihn das Fieber gepackt und er legte sich die ersten Plattenspieler zu. Der Stapel an Vinylscheiben wuchs schnell und Tim brachte nicht nur seinen damaligen Mitbewohner und seine Freundin mit seinen stundenlangen Sessions schlaflose Nächte ein. Die Liebe zu dem schwarzen Glu¨ck blieb bestehen und so läuft Tim stets schwer bepackt und ohne Laptoptasche auf. Nach einer gewissen Orientierungsphase mit Umwegen u¨ber DnB fand Tim recht schnell zu seinem eigenen Stil- was er liebt ist der technoide, treibende, dunkle Sound! 2010 war und ist ein sehr ereignisreiches Jahr fu¨r Tim Grothe. Eher zufällig kommt er 2009 an ein heruntergekommenes Gebäude und beginnt in monatelanger Schufterei einen Club aus der Baracke zu schaffen- die UNSICHTBAR wird geboren. Partys- die zunächst nur fu¨r Freunde gedacht waren- machen diesen kleinen Ort 2010 zu einem kleinen wilden Hexenkessel und schnell macht sich der kleine Laden einen Namen. Während dieser Zeit wird Tims Sound mehr und mehr vom Techno geprägt. Auch wenn er nur wenig Zeit neben seinem normalen Job und der Unsichtbar findet, beginnt er seine eigenen Sounds zu produzieren. So werden im Herbst/Winter 2010 drei seiner Tracks- die aus der Zusammenarbeit mit seinem Freund Heron entstanden- auf dem Techno-Urlabel „Synewave“ releast. Obwohl Tim Grothe zu den „Neulingen“ in der Szene gehören hat er sich sehr schnell ganz und gar der Musik verschrieben.
