Universal Language (László Dávid Adorján) was born in a small spa-town, Gyula in East-Hungary. He was obsessed with music from a young age, since his father is a bass guitarist and there was always music playing in the house. Laszlo started to take piano lessions at the age of 12 and at that time he also started to experiment with sounds and creating his own melodies. Thanks to his step-brother he discovered early electronic music like Kraftwerk, Art of Noise, Depeche Mode, Jean Michael Jarre, Giorgio Moroder and so on. From that point he was not any more interested in the classical and commercial music which have been taught to him on the piano and switched to a small Yamaha keyboard and convinced his parents to buy him a computer. He learned everything by trial and error, starting with tracker programs like Fasttracker 2, then he discovered sampling and creating loops in Acid. After that a small break came in music making when he started out to play records at friends' parties first and then he got invited to proper electronic parties where he could really show his passion for deep and atmospheric sounds. He was always the opener of the night and this helped him to evolve his own sound. At the age of 20 he moved to Budapest and got a job to collect some money to build a small studio. At that time he was working with Reason and Fruity Loops but he realized that it was not the sound he wanted, so soon after that he bought his first synth and a sampler. This completely changed his work flow and the tracks are now recorded in one take while everything is triggered on the fly. The studio is still growing and now he managed to get a hand on some outboard dynamics and effects to achieve a more warmer, analog sound. In 2010 he started to release his first tunes under Universal Language moniker on labels like A Must Have, Abandon and Etoka records, and the tracks got positive feedbacks from Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn, Hernan Cattaneo, Estroe, Chloe Harris, Nadja Lind, Anthony Pappa and Laurent Garnier amongst others.
