- Valentin Ginies is a multifaceted artist ||||| DJ, Producer, Live act, owner of 11001 Records, founder of Third Eye Festival & co-founder of Teufelsberg Domecast |||||His passion and extensive music collection can be felt in the DJ booth, blending together a refined selection of deep, rhythmic and trippy Techno. In his sets you can expect a tight selection of Techno with organic shapes, deep basslines, psychedelic elements which creates a mesmerizing ritualistic Techno landscape. He has the ability to combine sensitive emotions with energetic sounds all with great energy control on stage. His sets are lovingly crafted journeys, taking the dancefloor on a psychedelic and sometimes experimental techno trip. Valentin Ginies is a very passionate multifaceted artist based in Berlin. He has dedicated much of his life to music - a journey which has seen him play piano and drums before switching to a full hardware setup & taking to the decks at a young age. He founded 11001 Records, a Berlin-based record label focused on techno, ambient, experimental and other forms of abstract visions. He’s also the co-founder of the Teufelsberg Domecast, an ambient experimental podcast & release series with a unique sound installation focusing on live performances played in the Dots Gallery and sent to the dome’s natural reverb acoustic at the top of the main building. Over the past 10 years he’s DJ’ed in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Lithuania, Romania, USA, Canada, Mexico, Paraguay & Colombia. Valentin continues to explore his musical journey having released an album on Bahn Records last year and another release on Circular Limited. On his own imprint 11001 Records he’s continued to explore different facets of creativity. Protoplanetary EP, a 4 track release between Deep Techno and Experimental recently came out in January. Later in 2023 a vinyl is ready in collaboration with vocalist Siegfried Pürschel including a remix from Berghain resident Tobias. For the Teufelsberg Domecast, Valentin has invited a wide range of artists such as Dasha Rush, Tobias, Max Loderbaeur, Robert Henke, LF58, Hoshiko Yamane, a collaboration with Berlin’s UdK and quite a few recordings you can find on Domecast.de. He’s also founder of Third Eye Festival, a 3 day Music & Paint Festival in Berlin which had its first edition this year inviting Neel, Lucy, Crossing Avenue, Joachim Spieth to name a few. Last year he also started a regular party in Berlin called ORBIT inviting names like Marco Shuttle, Yukimasa, Denise Rabe, Sa Pa & Unjin among other established underground artists. These gatherings have organically connected a like minded community who share a similar musical and artistic vision.
