- VILLY ROY known as Anatoly Kolesnikov is various house and slow dance artist from small, but so proud country, Latvia.VILLY ROY known as Anatoly Kolesnikov is various house and slow dance artist from small, but so proud country, Latvia. His involvement with rhythms and beats started at the age of 9, when VILLY ROY tapped out the rhythm of track with hands on the desk in music lesson and was praised by teacher as a greatest rhythm feeling. And this case change his mind and caused intestate in music whit a straight rhythm. In a age of 16, VILLY ROY starts his own experiments with a trance & techno music in the college small studio with a couple of friends, that are also was in section of his interest in this kind of music. In the same year VILLY ROY starts to organise and promoute some parties in the college , where little by little making some experimental mashups with commercial and popular track to educate people of something else. And that was really warming and one by one VILLY ROY & guys started to select people who really love electronic music. In a age of 18 VILLY ROY started party series with a name of ”essential sellected” and make them all year in some untraditional places in Riga for electronic music lovers. In 2006 VILLY ROY decided to leave his own place and went in Great Britain where he started a hard working period and all his music interest was killed by lack of time. slo:mo has returned in Latvia but continue to mix studies and work and completely forget about music. It was lasted until slomo has found in the web some group of russian artists with a name of slowdance and completely drop down in love of that project. Guys was organised some special parties when the collected a lot of artists and for them possibilities to experiment with some music in slow. After that VILLY ROY has decided to try to make something the same in Latvia. And started to explore dj’s and artists in Latvian scene. In 2011 VILLY ROY met Ksenia, famous promoter and one of the greatest dj in Latvia. She give a masterclass of dj technics in a small bar in a centre of Riga, where helps VILLY ROY to remember how to play music. After a couple of month in the same bar VILLY ROY was resurrected as a dj in experimental slowdance project with a name of “Alter Sonus”. After that he was invited by Ksenia in platz fur tanz artist family. Of the beginning of 2012 VILLY ROY has developed his own project with a name Mixology, based on slow electronic music. All 2012 as a part of this project slo:mo was organised more them 10 unique events with a name of Pleasure Sounds by Martini and Day & Night by Mixology, where has invited artists to play some different kind of music in slow.
