WavebreakersWAVEBREAKERS – LIVE / H – MANDMS ANDREW MERCHANT & KHRISTIAN K „A new and exciting collaboration of two really talented electronic musicians” After having met in late 2009, the guys immediately realized that they wanted to work together both as producers and performances as well. Their collaboration is based on the raw and pumping beats of Khristian and the melodic way of thinking represented by Andrew. The very first tune they produced together called 'If Only' stormed through the electronic charts on the most popular webshops. ‘Previously both of them have been quite successful in the industry.’ Khristian is the founder of the well-known Mandms Music (old name was: Minimal and Melodies Music), which is a label dedicated to discovering new talents in electronic music production. With best-selling releases, MANDMS is supported by the biggest names of the scene week by week. Khristian himself has been DJing since 1996 and has been producing tracks of his own for quite a while as well. His previous tracks have been released at labels like Packed Music, Naked Lunch Records, Kaputt Musik, Attary Records or Miniatura Records among many others. Getting top support from Marco Carola, Danny Tenaglia, Steve Stoll, Cassino & Laben, Steve Parker and A. Paul together with so many other well known artists, qualifies him as a serious deep but technoid, minimalistic and electronica producer. Andrew has always had a melodic approach towards music. Being a trained piano and keyboard player, he started producing trance and progressive in 2002 together with his friend, Greg, in a group called Bluesolar. Since their first release in 2009, their tracks have been supported by artists like Dash Berlin, Joni Ljungqvist, Darin Epsilon, Tom Colontonio, Ernesto vs. Bastian, Ben Nicky and Manuel le Saux after having been released by labels such as Redux Red, Andromeda Recordings, Eyereflex Records and Digital Insomnia Recordings. Lately, he is producing techno, ambient, downtempo and lounge on his own. Although their musical taste is a bit different, they managed to find common grounds and to bring the best out of each other behind the controllers and the turntables. Their intent is to create a new kind of musical experience at parties to come. they short describe about thier music is: deep techno. After having produced more than two dozen tracks in just a couple of months, they decided that their performance would rely on the bits and parts of these tunes, resulting in an intuitive, ever-evolving live act at their gigs and that they could test their ideas and enhance them. Lately their track ‘Prayer’ on MMM’s bestselling album, “This is Deep pt 3” got massive feedback from the whole EDM scene and their release ‘Visions’ managed to shake the charts after getting released on Tannhäuser Recordings.
