- XYK is a contemporary 85-170 bpm producer from Stockholm, SWE. Back in Stockholm after four years in Brighton, UK, he is now releasing new music again after his debut-album 'Genesis' came out in 2016.XYK has converted to anonymousness after issues with anxiety and panic-attacks, often provoked by social media and other stress related situations. After the release of his well received debut-album ’Genesis’ he took a break to get to grips with his stress issues. After a long time using therapy and quitting everything with negative energy he is back to releasing music. ”Im not at all unique in my situation and the reason why I want this to occupy my artist biography is because so many people are still struggling to feel comfortable asking for help. I always thought my panic attacks and anxiety wasn’t treatable because I wasn’t suicidal. It’s a bit fucked up but it's getting better and I was helped with cognitive behavior therapy. It has taken almost three years to feel somehow comfortable releasing new music and though it still feels scary I find confidence in a music scene & audience so supportive and lovable as the DnB-family.
