Biografía
- YSE, rhymes with “Geese”, has been releasing tracks in one shape or form since 1998.Non-smoking, 5'11", spotlight-avoiding music producer, crate digger, rare DJ but all-round music aficionado, originally from the UK's East Midlands but currently living in the Middle East. Full head of hair enabling the ability to look distinctly average for age, is seeking the ultimate groove for creation. Must be up for good times, deep beats, soulful vibes and the occasional chilled night in. Enjoys nicely syncopated rhythms, heavy melodies, outgoing quirkiness and a quality glass of cheap Brandy and Cherry Coke - hold the ice. At weekends, likes to lead a more refined lifestyle, with his current favourite stench being anything by YSE Saint Laur'Ant or Paraíso. Hobbies include music making as one half of Matlock super duo Rhythm Plate, so comes with a bit of history which mostly spans three decades of music releasing and remixing for numerous labels and artists; but don't let that put you off. Also, single-handedly running Vinyl Only Records and co-running Pressed For Time Records with two other idiots. Happily never been 'flavour of the month' according to them darlings in the music press. GSOH.
