Biografía
- Singer working in the music industry and other galaxiesGyongyi Salla aka Ziaflow was born in Budapest, Hungary, where she started out her musical career as a singer following in the footsteps of her grandfather who was a Hungarian folk singer. She moved to London in 2007 to continue her musical studies in Jazz vocals at Goldsmiths, University of London followed by Performing Arts/Contemporary Vocals at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London in 2010. In 2011 Gyongyi’s musical career was destined for a change of pace and direction. She met electronic/ bass music producer Mentha (Subaltern Records) and began her journey into creating vocals for bass-heavy DJ sets. Her skills and training led her to not only perform and release tracks with Mentha but also collaborate with a number of electronic producers from all over the world. Ziaflow has had numerous appearances on SUB FM, Rinse FM, Pacha London, Ministry of Sound and Buddha Lounge just to name a few conquering even the pickiest music gourmets' ears with her mesmerising voice. Today Gyongyi is based in Berlin Germany and has continued crafting her sound and expanding her artistic horizon, working not only with DJ’s but also with producers, dancers and visual artists throughout Europe, America and Nigeria (west-Africa). Her talent has seen her with releases on labels including TUBA, Wheel & Deal, Subaltern Records, Silk Music/Solace Records and Gradient Audio. Host and resident of deviate since day one - the bass venture that really brought herself and Sammy B together.
