X mulletover has created some of the defining moments of 2010 for their loyal and dedicated following. They have continued to lead the way in delivering the absolute best in underground warehouse shenanigans, striving to continuously take our fun seriously. Not wanting to give away too much of a good thing, 2011 sees a honing of the parties, with only 3 main events happening throughout the year. The first of the big three, is everyone’s best excuse to end the detox, the mulletover January Sale. mulletover will be taking care of room 1 with Sebo K, who has been a Mobilee mainstay since the label's inception in 2005, with melodic tech-house grooves like "Moved" and his "Rancho Relaxo" collaboration with Anja Schneider, providing some of the imprint's musical highlights. He’s also mixed up the label's Back Up Vol 1 compilation, remixed (Watergate 04) as well as giving us one of those defining summer tracks a couple of years back with "Saxtrack,". However, it's his DJing that's arguably his real forte, stemming from a long career behind the decks that started at Alec Empire's Berlin-based Bass Terror parties in the '90s. After embarking upon study for the past three years, he has recently upped the ante in terms of club appearances gracing the presence of mUmU, The Button Factory and stole the show at 5 Years of mobilee back in May at mulletover. Swedish duo Skudge appear to be half men and half machine, as they present us with a special and rare sound born from their inspiration and talent through wires and analogue equipment. They have won huge acclaim after just a handful of releases, but it's not hard to see why. Like much contemporary techno, they do not offer a new narrative, but faithfully refine existing styles demonstrating their exceptional sense of loops and unexpected detail in their productions. Those lucky enough to have snared tickets to mulletover’s Halloween party, will have witnessed the special moment when Geddes played back to back with Steve Bug to an enthusiastic and appreciative crowd. Whilst performing at high profile events such as Glastonbury, DC10 in Ibiza and Burning Man festival, he has been kept busy with his expanding mumur imprint, where he is set to release a compilation early in 2011. Room 2 is hosted by Future Boogie. Crazy P are a disco outfit formed in Nottingham in the mid-90s by then-students Jim and Chris. Initially a production and DJ duo, they soon branched out to include a live dimension, first instrumental and then vocal following the recruitment of singer Danni in 2000. As DJs, they stay faithful to a disco base while still veering into eclectic territory having supported Faithless. With its beginnings eight years ago in Bristol, the Futureboogie DJs and parties have become highly regarded in their home town, across the UK, and beyond. The hallmarks of no boundaries quality music and a good party have shone through over the years shaking things up at the like of Glastonbury, The Big Chill, and The Garden Festival in Croatia. El Harvo, Kid Bongo and Joe 90 are the vital component to this outfit, who we welcome into the mulletover family for the night.
