Following the HUGELY successful LEASED pool party, we’re continuing our Summer Series party with a line up of simply EPIC proportions..
Once again, we’ve commandeered one of Sydney’s most visually impressive venues and turned it into a haven for our own personal benefit, for the good of underground sounds, unique sets, our friends and fans.. and most importantly, one-hell-ova-good party !!
Event Capitan’s Matt Weir & Kerry Wallace and Nergal Youkhana & Daniel Pharley will be in charge of piloting the event to an even more devastating effect than last time with a bigger space, bigger sound systems and even bigger act !!
Kicking it up a level, we’ve dried off our Speedos from the pool, caught the lift down and bringing the party into the lush and sundrenched main room and upper level of The Ivy with a gaggle of the best Sydney groups, stand out dj’s and an “Exclusive” Sydney performance over 3hrs by the worldwide lord of techno – MARCEL DETTMANN.
For this edition we’ll be taking over 2 rooms catering to every ones musical needs & 2 different sound systems with a punch not many can match.
On the upper level in the Den we’ll be bringing you nothing less than a tasty house and tech house sound backed up by specially selected Sydney collectives, while the main room bangs on with a much tougher and clinical techno based sound.
Announcing Marcel Dettmann is just the beginning, we have many more Dj’s to announce to the line up, maybe even another international act….. watch this space!!
On a side note; This event will be a fully relaxed and loose atmosphere. There will be no typical dress code and crowd, all you need to bring is yourself and a good vibe.

Our German housemate will be bringing a tasteful touch of dark tech to the sunny main room in what’s going to be a spectacular paring of music and surrounds. Marcel’s career speaks for itself, on one had he has spun records since ’94 including residency continuum at Berlin’s Ostgut/Berghain right from the beginning in ’99 and on the other he’s been producing and releasing tracks and remixes since 2006 as well as a self run label, MDR.

Lars Dales & Maarten Smeets have had quite a run the last few years. From making music for the hell of it, to making tens of thousands of fans all over the world happy with their releases, mixes and perfomances; It’s almost like they appeared out of thin air. With a string of releases on renowned labels like Dirt Crew, Freerange and Tsuba, they've sucker punched the house scene and waved around their 12” scepter to rule them all.
Notorious for their energetic DJ sets and relentless roasts – mostly of each other- they have had just about as many return DJ bookings, as they’ve had requests for their comic duo performance. The latter being a particular problem, since their agent, rightly so, deals with serious artists, not with comedians.
