- Founded by Junkee Media in 2012, EMC is Asia Pacific’s largest industry event for electronic music. EMC is a two-day conference teamed with EMCPlay - a club-based festival across one night in Sydney. The 2015 edition was the biggest yet, and featured over 180 speakers across over 40 keynotes, panels and masterclasses; and over 25 performances from Australia’s leading emerging artists in electronic music. EMC 2016 takes place from Monday November 30 to Friday December 2. EMC is excited to expand in 2016 beyond the conference and EMCPlay, to include the addition of the annual inthemix Awards and the music industry’s annual charity 5-a-side football tournament, Musica Copa, with more events to be announced in this jam-packed week celebrating electronic music culture in the Asia Pacifc.
