The London venue will run a series of its own parties next year, featuring Robert Hood, Âme and Luke Slater among others.
Oval Space has announced Chapter One of Oval Space Music 2014, its in-house events series.
As well as hosting the likes of secretsundaze, Need2Soul and Black Butter, the venue ploughed ahead with its own party series in 2013, bringing Manuel Göttsching, Innervisions and Jamie Lidell to East London. Across six shows, which will run from Saturday, February 1st through March 29th, Chapter One of Oval Space Music 2014 will continue to "convey our diverse appreciation of musical textures and styles, making a deeper imprint into the identity of Oval Space," according to OSM curator Hannah Briley.
Robert Hood joins Jerome Sydenham and Luke Slater on opening night, with Innervisions pair Âme taking full control of proceedings on February 28th. March will see Dennis Ferrer, DJ Qu and Rick Wade spin on 1st, before Kollektiv Turmstrasse and Tri Angle artist Evian Christ perform live on the 6th and 21st respectively. Dial Records will wrap up the first chapter the following week, with Pantha Du Prince, John Roberts, Carsten Jost and Lawrence all confirmed. For the new season, Oval Space has also recruited two new resident DJs: Londoner jozif and former Watergate staple Fritz Zander.
Tickets to all Oval Space Music: Chapter One events are available here on RA.
