Now based in Berlin, Cloutier has five US and Canada dates confirmed over the next month.
Eric Cloutier has returned to North America for a month, and he's got a handful of DJ gigs in his schedule.
A US native who was for years based in New York (he's a resident at local techno institution The Bunker), Cloutier relocated to Berlin earlier this year. Since then he's ramped up his touring around Europe, and put out a track called "Adytum"—his first-ever studio release—on the new label offshoot of the internet TV station Studio r°. Coming a couple weeks after his appearance at Taiwan's Formoz Festival and before a couple bookings in Australia, these North American dates will be Cloutier's first on the continent since his move.
The trek starts in San Francisco, where he'll play for Housepitality at F8. He's then atop the lineup at a Vssl party in Los Angeles this Friday, and he's slotted in for a seven-hour set at a SpaceRock Saturday event in Seattle the following evening. Later in the month, Cloutier will hit Montreal for a set at Forbidden Planet. Finally, on Friday, September 6th, he'll return to The Bunker in Brooklyn, taking place at Output, where he's billed with the locally based Fred P (who shares the A-side with Cloutier on that recent Studio r° record) and German house experimentalist Kassem Mosse.
Tickets to see Cloutier at Vssl in LA and The Bunker in Brooklyn are available on RA.
