Sydney's Astral People celebrate five years

- The local crew will party at the Oxford Art Factory on October 22nd to mark the occasion.
- Sydney outfit Astral People will celebrate their fifth birthday at the Oxford Art Factory on October 22nd. The artist management, touring and promotion company launched back in 2011 with a roster of artists that included Dro Carey, Jonti, Alba and Preacha—most of whom are still on board. They've since toured acts like Omar-S, DJ EZ, Pantha Du Prince and Floating Points, as well as hosting their now-dormant festival OutsideIn over three years. They also teamed up with RA back in 2013 for a VS show with FunkinEven and Dro Carey. Their anniversary show will be an all-local family affair, featuring sets from artists like Mall Grab, The Possé, Wave Racer, Polographia, Andy Garvey, Lovebombs, Mira Boru and a back-to-back session from Cliques and Preacha. The party spans the Art Factory's two rooms and kicks off at 9 PM.
