  • Mike Parker's debut album, Dispatches, is getting its first vinyl release. Out on April 12th through Field Records, the limited-edition version is spread across three records and includes a bonus track, "Dissolution 99," that doesn't feature on the original. Dispatches, which was originally released on CD via Parker's Geophone label in 2001, set the blueprint for the style of deep, hypnotic techno that dominated the following decade. The Buffalo artist went on to collaborate with the likes of Donato Dozzy, Audion and Sleeparchive. News of the reissue arrives ahead of Parker's performance at The Pearl in Vancouver this Saturday, February 17th. Listen to three tracks from Dispatches.
