The Other Events creates left-field music events drawing strength from its members’ collective backgrounds in artist management, graphic design and sound management, and shared taste in the eclectic. We function both as an agency and consultancy; we run our own ongoing parties and frequently collaborate with other new and established events, either crafting the entire experience, creating designs or overseeing art direction, programming line-ups or advising on ethical ways to book artists. We're currently the team behind SWIM (our no-holds barred, long-running dance party at The Waiting Room), Hypnic State (an ambient sound and visual art experimental sleepover event) and Search Festival (an intimate festival with some seriously great music happening for three days over New Year’s — tickets available here!).
