Three gigs will take place around Sydney this Thursday, March 3rd, with proceeds going to the anti-lockout organisation.
Three Keep Sydney Open fundraisers will be held on March 3rd.
Following a 15,000-strong rally on February 21st and a surge in public debate during the past two weeks, the anti-lockouts organisation will seek to raise money to further its campaign with parties across three separate venues this Thursday night. According to KSO, "funds will mainly be used by to pay for printing and advertising, as well as pay for data analysis and legal advice" as the NSW Government's review of the laws continues.
Only one fundraiser was originally planned: Adi Toohey, Marcus King, World Champion, the Freda's House Band and more at Freda's. Two additional gigs have since been announced. Vibe Positive will host the Future Classic DJs, Magda Bytnerowicz, Jimmy Sing and nine other acts across both floors of The Chippendale Hotel, while phile, Simon Caldwell and Kali take over at Tatler in Darlinghurst. Entry to each event is a $20 donation; Freda's and The Chippendale Hotel run from 6 PM to midnight, and the 'Late Night Edition' at Tatler kicks off at 10 PM.
