Jean Michel Jarre, Laurent Garnier, Floating Points and Pépé Bradock are among the names confirmed for this year's academy in Paris.
RBMA has shared the events programme for its Paris academy, running from October 25th through November 27th.
Following last year's Tokyo edition, RBMA will settle into Paris this November, using La Gaite Lyrique as its HQ. While its 61 participants will be given access to private lectures with renowned artists and studio facilities, a series of public performances, conferences and exhibitions will be held at venues and clubs across the French capital as well.
The programme starts with François K and Pépé Bradock spinning at Badaboum on October 25th. Next, Laurel Halo, Vessel, Inga Copeland and Mondkopf will bring their respective A/V shows to the 360° screens of La Gaite Lyrique on October 28th. RBMA will then host a few club events in partnership with Pitchfork Paris featuring the likes of Nosaj Thing, Omar-S, Andre Bratten, Hudson Mohawke, Roman Flügel, John Talabot and Laurent Garnier.
On November 2nd, Floating Points will make his Paris live debut accompanied by a band at New Morning, supported by Parisian house digger Jeremy Underground. The same week, Nicolas Godin, half of French duo Air, will premiere his Contrepoint A/V show at Gaite Lyrique on November 5th. The following day will see 50 Weapons throw a farewell party at Concrete.
Other club events in November include a celebration of African sounds at La Bellevilloise (November 18th), a tribute to the Vogue scene with Sound Pellegrino label boss Teki Latex, a footwork night with RP Boo and a techno noise reunion at Rex Club, featuring Mr. Oizo, Ron Morelli, Errorsmith, The Mover and Minimal Wave's Veronica Vasicka.
Finally, RBMA will close things out with a series of back-to-back sets at La Gaite Lyrique on November 27th, including Cassius's Phillipe Zdar with Para One, Cabanne with Lowris, DJ Slow with Canblaster and Zaltan with Geena. French veterans Marc Cerrone and Jean Michel Jarre have also been confirmed for public lectures on November 1st and 17th respectively, though the locations remain TBA.
The full 2015 programme can be found on the RBMA website.
